Why Deeper Well?
Simply put, we go deep to the root of your pain or limitation, whether the barrier is physical, emotional or spiritual. Humans are complex and sometimes complicated. A one-size-fits-all approach just doesn’t work for you. Deeper Well PT is that next level of care that sees and gets YOU.
Hi, I’m Dr. Liz Opoka.
My passion is helping amazing humans (like you!) achieve health, fitness and pain-free movement to reclaim vitality and joy.
Whether you are recovering from an injury or want to ditch that limp or pinch in your hip, it’s so much easier with an enthusiastic and knowledgable partner who helps you achieve more strength, power, stability, and confidence.
Some folks I have worked with have exchanged their walkers for canes, and others have left their canes home while running errands - in a great pair of sensible shoes, of course.
Oftentimes, the hardest part of treatment is not the physical component, but the emotions and mindframe around the limitation. Let’s work through the hard stuff together so that you can get back to feeling like yourself again.

Testimonials
I say this to Liz at least once a month: I don’t know where I would be without her! I’ve been having Liz come to me weekly for 6 years; I’m not one to sit in a physical therapy clinic while they see multiple people at once, giving me the same exercises over and over. Thanks to Liz, I have been able to reduce my use of steroid prescriptions and walk for hours without a cane. I even help my sister-in-law walk her beagle, and if you know dogs, then you know they get into everything! My legs are stronger, my back is less hunched, and my balance is so much better on the cracked sidewalks of NYC.

Liz is very attuned to the subtle - and not so subtle - changes in my body from week to week and is adept at pivoting instantly so that I am not in pain, while addressing my challenges with my shoulder and mobility. I appreciate her help with keeping me healthy and wish I could clone her so she could have even more time for us!

When I first met Liz in May 2024, I was unable to walk after undergoing two hip replacements and dealing with metastatic breast cancer. Liz’s deep knowledge of anatomy, combined with her intuitive understanding of how bones, muscles, and the spirit interact, has been transformative. Thanks to her thoughtful approach and personalized strategies, I’m now walking without a cane and can climb stairs – all because of Liz.
